I love reading Life as MOM! Jessica is such an inspiration and I can relate to everything she blogs about! I can be having a rough day, go onto her blog and after reading a post or two, I can fell myself letting go of the stress and just letting life go on as it will for the day.
I so much appreciate Garden Glimpses blog. Daily it is encouraging w/o being “preachy” and “I have all the answers…”. Instead she’s real and points to the Savior. Our only REAL help and hope! Keep it up….you are a breath of fresh (garden : ) air!!!!
LifeAsAMom is the best in my opinion. She has the most encouraging blog and I read a lot of blogs online..I have written to her thanking her for her inspiration and wisdom as I don’t think she realizes the lives she touches and the hearts she fills with joy & laughter. In her process of blogging her life as a mom, she makes me realize that “I’m not alone” and “yes, that has happened to me too”. I never thought I would hear anything back. I mean, she’s a mom, teacher, wife, blogger etc etc with probably a billion messages to sift through daily. So needless-to-say I was heartened when I found an email in my box the next morning from her “thanking” me for writing to her. It wasn’t an automatic return letter, it wasn’t an “i’m out, but thanks for writing to me” letter. It was written to me, with tid bits of what I had said to her coming back through her words to say “thank you” to me, the mom & wife she doesn’t know in Maryland. That speaks volumes about the caring person she is. Taking the time out of her busy schedule to write a perfect stranger to thank her for her email. That made my day! It made me a believer that there are still true blue people out there that really do care and it’s not all just a give me, I want it now, take, take, take, in it for only myself world. If anyone is worthy of an award it would be her…I look forward to getting her emails daily. She really is an inspiration to many, but as a mom and a wife she encourages me to take a breath and not sweat the small stuff. It’s like I’m meeting with my good friend every morning for a daily scoop on life…I’m just always the listener. Well, that day, she listened to me. She makes my day and I hope you’ll make hers and consider her for this award. I have never met her, but I feel as though I have known her for years. I hope someday I get the chance to give her a heart to heart thank you in person. She touches more lives than she truly realizes and that, in and of itself is worth my humble vote.
Good luck LifeAsAMom!!!!
I love reading Wild Life in the Woods. It is encouraging, funny, and inspiring. The words paint pictures. Susan takes us through the Psalms, Fruits of the Spirit, and on a bunny hunt with Mr. Billy’s beagles. Plus, where else can you get yummy recipes for raspberry shortbread and rubber cement fondue?
Courtney has an infectious smile and truly is encouraging in her teachings. Now, I must check out those other blogs because I haven’t seen them before now! More facebook time I suppose.
I voted for Wildlife in the Woods! Susan is an amazing writer who knows how to tap in to the Holy Spirit and pass on inspiration that touches a mother’s heart right where–and when–you need it most.
