About Melissa

Melissa is a mother of four kids who takes pictures for fun, reads compulsively and writes to remember. She and her husband of 19 years live in Small Town, Arkansas where there is limited access to fast food.

She and her husband are conservative Christians and are raising their sheltered, antisocial children this way. She used to teach junior high English until she gave birth and decided to quit and teach her own. It was a good, but messy decision. Her house will never be the same.
