About Heather

I graduated high school in 1993 and headed off to College. I have always been a very outgoing person, and being an only child I was ready to spread my wings. I was also determined to find my future husband and get my MRS. Degree! I met my husband at church on a Saturday night, our first “date” was the next weekend on my birthday and we have been together ever since. This past year marked our 11th anniversary- I wouldnt trade him for the world.

Together we have 3 beautiful children. We homeschool our oldest 2 and our youngest daughter goes to a public school for autistic children. We began our homeschool journey on a Friday night in February of 2007. After watching our oldest daughter struggle, we decided that it was no longer worth it to keep her in. And of course, with her always comes her little brother!

Easton is 10 years old. She loves sports, and High School Musical. Her favorite thing to do in school is read, she can often be found laying on her bed reading a Judy Moody book. She is a very outgoing child, and I am so very proud of her!

Elijah is 6 years old. He loves Xbox and playing army. He has a significant speech problem which hinders him in reading and spelling, but he does his best to overcome those obstacles. He loves his chocolate lab, Boomer and can often be found rolling around with him on the living room floor.

Emma Grace is our 5 year old daughter who is a heart transplant patient, and is also autistic. We considered homeschooling her, but she is excelling very well right now in the program she is in. You will notice I talk about her frequently- she is such a joy!

Me? I am just a mom who is walking through the life she has been blessed with.
