About Amanda

My name is Amanda Dixon, but am better known as SuperAngel. I am an 20yo homeschool graduate of ‘07. I believe in the ONE TRUE SAVIOR and hope you will see Him in me. I am the oldest of 9 children and daughter of two loving parents. I’m waiting on God to bring my Man of Steel to me.

I am chief errand runner, grocery menu maker and grocery shopper, laundry queen, and organizational gal. I love driving, Mustangs, movies, food, blogging, exercising, reading, hot weather, sunshine, coffee, giving gifts and more. I am on my way to becoming the woman God created me to be. I want to follow the Bible word by word and live only for Christ. I want to be an example to all who meet me that you can live Biblically and live in this world.

My life verse is: “For ‘Ezra had set his heart on studying and practicing the Torah of ADONAI and teaching Isra’el the laws and rulings.” Ezra 7:10
My life purpose is to seek the law and will of God and to just do it! Then encourage others to do the same!

I am a Biblical Believer and don’t conform to the denominations of today’s world. I am a non-fiction Believer. That means that God has already written my life story and I don’t want to change it by doing what I want, but follow it perfectly by His Word and Guidance. I will follow that plan alone. I will not make my own plans, but follow where He leads me.

I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and love Him as my Savior. I want to live wholly for Him and give my everything to Him. I believe that He is the Only Son of God. That He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one can come to the Father unless through Him. I believe Jesus Christ was beaten, crucified, and rose again in three days. I believe that He died for my sins, and washed them away. I believe that He is coming back for his people some day soon.

I believe that a marriage consists of a MAN and a WOMAN. I believe that the husband should be the head of the household and that all decisions lie ultimately with him under the authority of God. I believe that a woman should be a keeper of her home. I believe she does not need to get a job outside of her home and out of the authority of her husband.

I believe in a full quiver, and that God will give me the desires of my heart. I believe that the woman should stay home and raise her children in the LORD under the leadership of her husband.

I am praying and waiting for God to bring my Superman, my Man of Steel. I can’t wait to get married and have my own family. I am excited that I can be a stay at home mom and keep my home. I want to be a Homemaker and make my home to be a haven for my family to learn to be Biblical and Godly.

I say I’m a city gal living the country girl life, because I’m not big on country life. I was born in New Mexico, though I have lived most of my life in Indiana. I love hot weather and despise cold.

I graduated from 12 years of homeschool in October 2007. It is such an amazing feeling to know that I accomplished my education. I loved being home schooled. I did not always feel this way about homeschooling. For a while, I wanted to be Christian schooled because it was cool and I wanted to be with my friends. But God changed my heart about that and many other things. Now I am so thankful for the opportunity that being homeschooled has allowed me to have. I am learning more than I ever could in public school. I am now a firm believer that homeschooling is the only option to educate children. I will be homeschooling my children and giving them the BEST education that I can.

I love learning computer technology and hope to further my knowledge in the coming year. Since March of 2006, blogging was such an amazing part of my schooling. I can’t begin to tell how much it has enhanced my life and helped me learn, not only physical stuff, but also spiritual things. If someone asked me if they should get a blog and what would it accomplish, I would tell them yes they should get a blog and that blogging will always teach you things. No matter how long you blog. Whether its writing skills, language skills, communication skills or even how to deal with conflicts skills, blogging will change your life.

I absolutely love Superman and Smallville. I collect their nostalgia: items, clothes, anything! I have done a lot of research on Superman and “Why I Like Superman” is because I have come to see many similarities to my Savior.

I totally love food too! My top faves are Mexican, lasagna, pizza, but I really love any foods!

I love to go driving and my dream car is a ‘68 or ‘10 black Mustang! Right now I drive the family’s Chevy Express 15 passenger van, er bus.
