Marie Curie Online Unit Study

As a mom of three girls, I make a special point to study women’s history in our homeschool. I want to teach my daughters about positive female role models and encourage them to pursue their talents and educational interests. One of the ways I do that is by choosing a woman from history and doing a unit study. We recently had the chance to use the Marie Curie Online Unit Study, created by Beth Napoli (also a homeschool mom of girls) at Techie Homeschool Mom.

I'm a reader, writer, dreamer, wife, and homeschooling mom of 3 girls. We take a relaxed, eclectic, Charlotte Mason-leaning, Montessori-ish, literature-rich, delight-directed, almost unschooling-at-times approach to learning. Lots of unit studies, field trips, and lapbooks, too. I like to blog about our learning adventures (plus faith and encouragement) at Embracing Destiny.
