Have you ever read a book and thought “Why didn’t I think of that?

That is what this e-book is ALL about – helpful information!  There are tips from over 300 bloggers, myself included. (Squeal!)

If you would like to see my tip, #800, please go see this post about how to get sand off your feet at the beach.  Trust me, your car will thank you!

This book just overflows with useful information (over 800 tips) from blogging and cleaning to homeschooling and organizing – it has a little bit of everything.

Kristen at We Are That Family is donating part of the proceeds to the Mercy House, a non-profit maternity home in Africa.  I just love helping others, and this book is a little help-meet!

Be real! Don’t hide hurts or joys – share them with your children and learn from them

Keep all of your curriculum catalogs. Even if you have all of your stuff for the year. Even if you think you will never switch what you use. Things change. Kids change. Circumstances change. It’s nice to have those catalogs righ on hand too flip through whenever you need to.

Relax and don’t compare your kids to others one, homeschooled or in public school.

My kids thrive using workboxes! No more, “What’s next, Mom?” It has changed our routine completely! I love leaving little surprises for them in one of their boxes.

My best house cleaning tip would be to have all your supplies ready to go. Either in a plastic carry all or you could have a cleaning apron with what you need inside and hanging on loops. Most importantly you’re not running around wasting time looking for those cleaning supplies.

LOL! HOMESCHOOLING tip. I read house cleaning for some reason. LOL! Maybe it’s because I should be cleaning mine. Ha!
Okay my best HOMESCHOOLING tip would be to be flexible. Don’t be so rigid that you get stressed out if things don’t get finished. A veteran homeschooler once told me that as long as you accomplish the 3 R’s, you’re doing good.

I’m brand spanking new to this homeschooling thing, but I think for me, its be realistic. While I’m choosing to homeschool because I want learning to be an extension of our everyday activities, there will be times when learning won’t be easy and will require perseverance both on my part, and my kids part! But what do I know, I’m new at this!

Connect with homeschool moms – in real life & online. This journey isn’t for the faint of heart, and it is important to have a support system. Sometimes you just need a chat or a bit of encouragement from someone who gets it!
