If you have been an online homeschool mom for any length of time, you probably know Amy Bayliss. She was a co-founder of Heart of the Matter and she blogs at Cajun Joie de Vivre. She used to organize the Heart of the Matter Online Conferences and was the announcer and also a speaker for many of those sessions to encourage homeschool moms.

Her latest project has been writing a book that aims to help women pursue being a Proverbs 31 woman. Proverbs 31 Woman is a modern Bible study for the woman seeking to mimic that amazing woman of Proverbs. We at the Post think that this would be a great bible study — and the message she seeks to share is near and dear to our heart as homeschooling mothers.

Who doesn’t want our kids to rise up and call us BLESSED? Our husband to praise us?

On Monday, March 5th, Christin Slade is launching a book study on her site, Joyful Mothering, starting with chapter 1. Many of our authors plan to be attending. Wouldn’t it be great if our homeschool mom community would pray about this study and embark on it together? Amy is planning to vlog (talk on video there) and share her heart with us about some things that aren’t in the book. She’s planning to provide printables and asking for us to invite our friends to join her!

Pursuit of Proverbs 31 releases on February 27th.
