A Green Week

The Homeschool Post is hosting the Carnival of Homeschooling on March 22nd. We decided to do a Green theme in honor of spring! This will be the perfect week for you to get some green pictures and email them in to us with your submissions. St. Patrick’s Day is this Thursday (consider this your warning to wear green so you don’t get pinched)!

If you don’t know what a web carnival is, it’s basically just a place to showcase your best weekly post (but it doesn’t have to be from this past week – you can enter any post you like – especially if it has anything to do with something green). Each week a different homeschool blog offers to host the carnival and showcase all the links. Just because a host uses a theme, though, you do NOT have to link up a post about that theme. Any homeschool or parenting related post is great. We hope you will enter by submitting your blog post to the Carnival of Homeschooling gmail.

You can borrow our button on the sidebar to spread the word if you want… and you can borrow generic carnival buttons from the Cate’s blog (they are the owners and masterminds behind the Carnival of Homeschool). You can find out more about the carnival on Why Homeschool (check their sidebar).

Red Chair Press Funny Bone Readers

Last week’s contest ended today at noon and we have a winner for the Funny Bone Readers!

AnalogGirl – you won!

Email us and we’ll get your information to the publisher so they can ship you your books!

We had 38 swappers this time! If you signed up to swap gifts in the mail with another homeschool mama, please remember to ship your packages by the 18th (this Friday). We’re hoping that you can post them by the following Friday and get us the links by the first of April!

Just for reminders, here was our ‘revised’ schedule:
