After being inspired by other leaders in the world of homeschooling, Barbara Lee, a Special Needs teacher for 23 years, invented Crayon Rocks.
Offered in vibrant colors, Crayon Rocks are an all natural SOY WAX crayon made from USA GROWN soybeans and colored with natural mineral powders.
With their unique shape, Crayon Rocks strengthen the tripod grip in preparation for handwriting, allowing little fingers to color in bold, wide strokes.

Crayon Rocks are used by OTs to help develop fine motor skills, and are recommended for KIDS OF ALL AGES AND SKILL LEVELS!

We love crayon rocks. I discovered them when one of my sons was in EI and his therapist brought them one day. (Great for developing a tripod grip.) All the colors are beautiful, though the black is so dark we keep it in its own bag.
Thank you so much to Tammy who introduced these to us at the Post – and who happened to be my Swap Partner this month and sent me some!
As soon as the baby is past the “everything is a cookie” stage, we’ll let him play with them!
