Friday Night Football

by Dawn on October 2, 2010

Last year I posted about the band program our kids participate in and our Friday night football games. Fall is here, and it’s that time of year again! Friday night football is for homeschoolers, too.

Let’s hear it for the band!

Even if your kids aren’t old enough to be involved, support the homeschool teams in your area. It’s a great family activity for a Friday night!

I remember reading your post last year! And I remember thinking how much I would love that for our homeschoolers here. And lo and behold our homeschool football team is coming together! And I started up a homeschool music program over the last year – our band is not quite ready for the football field, yet, but we’re working on it! Thanks for the inspiration! http://bumpinalongtheroadlesstraveled.blogspot.com/2010/09/lifes-surprises.html (football/cheerleaders) and http://bumpinalongtheroadlesstraveled.blogspot.com/search/label/homeschool%20music (music)

It’s so great that they have these programs available. When our boys were homeschooling (they are 24 & 26 now) these weren’t available. Now homeschoolers can even play for the local schools in some cities! Very cool!

Happy homeschooling days to you all – from Hawaii :D

We have a choir and down south, they have a band. However… I’m not sure we have a football team anywhere around here. LOL
