We Got it Goin' On, Baby…

Things have been pumping around here… new authors (you already met Jenn – can’t wait to show you who’s next!)… the A B See Photomeme and our upcoming prize give-away… the Homeschool Swap that is well under way…

… and now – we’re also hosting The Carnival of Homeschooling next week! That’s right, we’ll be bringing you a little appetizer – a sampling, if you will – of all the homeschool related going-ons from across the blogosphere. Next week’s edition will be the “Texas Wildflower Edition”. I can’t wait to see what Dawn cooks up for us as a button. I’m sure it will be beautiful.

Be sure to get your posts to me via the Carnival of Homeschool gmail account by Monday at 6pm. The earlier the better! Sheila and I don’t want to be up until 3AM.

Basically it is just a showcase of links from all sorts of great homeschool blogs… and a great way to find out what is on everyone’s mind and meet new people. Each week there is a different host. You can find out where the Carnival will appear next and request to host it yourself at Henry’s blog: Why Homeschool.

Only one more week until we hand over the prize… which is this awesome book:

Week 4 (and the announcement of who won the prize) will be posted Friday, the 23rd! In case you haven’t been following, here’s how it works in a nutshell:

1. Take pictures and upload them to Flickr
2. Blog them in an A-B-C format (Last week mine was C is for Computer) and include our graphic (in the sidebar).
3. Join our Flickr Group and add your weekly pictures.
4. We pick five photos each week to showcase on The Homeschool Post.
5. Every 4 weeks, we number the 20 final photos and randomly draw a number for a prize win!

As for the Homeschool Swap, the next one is not until August. However, if you are signed up now – be sure to get your presents in the mail! Here’s a quick reminder of the dates:
