Awards Updates:

We have gotten a few emails regarding changes to urls and spellings of blogs. We have gotten to all of them that have come in (we think!)… but if you are still having issues, let us know so we can fix it as quick as possible so it won’t affect your vote count. Other questions that were very good and needed to be answered ONLINE for everyone to read are now included on our voting page. We made a Question/Answer section with some generic answers for everyone to read. If you are wondering about some of the contest rules or why particular blogs might not have been included on the final polls – please go check that out!

We are still accepting prizes, too! DaySpring just joined our prize page #2, and we have a couple of others who have emailed us with interest in joining. If you are a family/parenting/or homeschool friendly product/service/business, and you want to get in on the fun, we can email you our PDF about prize donation if you shoot us an email.

Keep those votes coming! We have over 500 votes in some categories already! We are very pleased with the amount of participation this year – it seems that word is spreading. Thank-you to everyone who is helping get the word out (special thanks to Tiany of The Homeschool Toolbar and Heart of the Matter for sharing with their readers, as well)!

Upcoming at the Homeschool Post:

1. Tomorrow is our A B See Photomeme! We’ll be posting letter Z! It has been a really fun project and we hope to bring you a final post linking every letter of the alphabet in one place so you can browse them. Maybe we’ll even do a photo collage and teach you how you can make one yourself for free! Be taking your letter-themed photos now so you can add yours to the linky when it goes up tomorrow! We’d love to see your creative pictures. Another great idea for an alphabet themed photo project is to print them in real life for your kids and teach them to scrapbook or lapbook them. It would be an awesome preschool project.

2. Saturday is our November/December Homeschool Swap! You don’t want to miss it. If you enjoy getting goodies in the mail that were made or bought especially for you (instead of bills), this is right up your alley. Sign up Saturday and we’ll mail you a questionnaire to fill out – then we will pair you with another mom and you have two full months to get your packages in the mail, photograph what you get and blog about it, and email us the links to showcase!
