Sometimes, I wonder just where in the world my kids learn to do some of the things they do. You know, like throw a temper tantrum or hit their brother or sister. Does it really just come naturally?Yep! It sure does. It is called human sin nature. I have figured it out. There is just no blaming anyone else. I can’t say “Oh, he/she learned that from daycare!” or “He/she learned that at school”. You know why I can’t say that, because mine don’t go to daycare or school, like most people say. That leaves me to believe it must be the church nursery. (HA! Not really) It is just the plain, simple truth. They are sinners and therefore they act like sinners.
My youngest two are just so funny when they are doing wrong. I think they have too much of Adam and Eve’s blood in them. Remember…Adam and Eve thought they could hide from God for what they had done. That is exactly what they try to do. It is terrible, but yet it is so funny. When they are into something they shouldn’t be in, they go hide behind our recliners or try to hide behind doors. They think they can’t be seen, when they do that.
Recently, twice in a day, the youngest one got into stuff she shouldn’t be in and got busted. The first was with my old camera. She had climbed up and gotten it off the piano and was behind the chair with it. I was still unloading my van when, my husband came out and told me to grab my camera and get a picture.

The second time was, when she was trying to get in my purse to get to my gum. She and her brother have a problem with that. They are gumaholics. She tried to hide behind the door with my purse to get the gum. Busted again.

So…does anyone have to teach our children to sin or to try to hide their sin? Nope. It is who they are. It is who we are. I am just glad to be a sinner saved by GRACE! God’s Grace!!!
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8,9
