Just what the world needs: another homeschool book fair. I say that completely without scarcasm – even knowing that I’ll be carrying around a viking and getting blisters and shoulder splints (yeah, I know there probably aren’t such things… but MAN, BABIES ARE HEA-VY at book fairs).
The Texas Homeschool Coalition State Conference is this weekend – August 6-8, 2009. And if they don’t let me bring my stroller in, I might cry.
Maybe this time I won’t have to be in the nursing room the entire day like I was in Dallas and Austin.
Are you within driving distance of Houston? This is one homeschool conference IRL (In Real Life) you don’t want to miss. I’ll let you in on a little secret: SALLY CLARKSON WILL BE THERE. And that’s pretty much all I need to say.
Not just because Sally is great… and wrote one of my favorite homeschool how-to books of all time, but because it’s late-thirty. Didn’t I tell you that I was trying to stay off the computer? And I need my beauty rest. LOTS and LOTS of it.
I mainly wanted to share that there will be a number of bloggers converging on the convention … and I wanted to find out WHO of you will be there?
WHO WHO?
Love in Him,
