Well, the polls have been open to vote for your favourite homeschool sites of 2008 and many have already ready cast their votes. Not too much longer before they close in fact. I’ve already voted for mine, including my sister in Best Teen Gal category and my little sister in Best Blog Design. Haha, I’m a little biased on those two and well imho they’re the best! I even made an “I Voted” sticker to stick on my site so others would go vote as well.
THEME
This week I want to invite you to nominate your family to their correct categories as well has have others nominate them. While my two sisters are listed under Best Teen and Best Design, those definitely are NOT the best traits they have nor the funniest.
This is how you do it…. you post the category that best describes each of your family members and write something about why you nominated them in that category, and you’re welcome to post photos. You can see mine below for an example.

MY THEME:
Best Super-Errand-Runner: Miss Amanda

Amanda is our errand-runner and does it quite often. She manages all the groceries, which includes going shopping and keeping up on prices and which stores to shop. For that I nominate her in Best Super-Errand-Runner!
Best Betty-Crocker-Replacement: Rachel Jenaye

You can always smell something good cooking in the kitchen, and tastes way better than Betty Crocker’s ever could. I have dub Rachel Jenaye *our* Best Betty Crocker-Replacement!
Best Chess-Player (as in devoted!): Sir Eric

Sir Eric loves to play chess, and there are times (like recently) when he is relentless is asking people to play. He’s been teaching Isaac (5) how to play, and soon enough they’ll be battling for the board!
Best Too-Much-Information Journalist: Miss Hannah

Haha, man, does she crack me up! Go read some of her latest GGM articles, especially this one
National Sandwich Day, to find out why I nominated her in this category!
Best Too-Smart-For-His-Own-Good: “Einstein” Isaac

Isaac has always been a smart kid. He learned to talk and potty-train earlier than the others (at least in my memory), and to this day is too smart for his own good!
Best Comic-Relief-Serenader: Caleb

We all love our Ca-bug and is simply adorable when he serenades us in Amazing Grace, While I’m Waiting, and many others family favourites. Such a sweetie and so hilarious!
Best Adorable-Baby: LucyLillie

LucyLillie is *the* cutest baby in my opinion, though I may be biased! She is just too precious!
This is going to be a lot of fun! Blessings!

very, very fun!!
Too fun! I love this idea.
Oh, this could be both difficult and fun at the same time. I may have to get sneaky about getting pictures though as I do not have hardly any photos of them that are recent. This may have to be put on hold till Thursday.
The Mr. Linky disappeared! Here is mine:

what happened to mr. linky?
This is really cute my kids will get a kick out it Thanks for all you do!!!
I just wanted to say thanks for hosting this every week. It must be a ton of work to think up a theme each time. I noticed there are not as many joining us this week. It was a hard assignment (some of our brain cells disappear each week and creativity takes awhile to come back). But the good news is that with less folks, there’s more of a chance of visiting everybody.
It was fun to give awards to my family.
