We have had a couple of emails about the difficulties in voting. We apologize for this and hope that you are able to vote at home. However, if you are not able to get your network to cooperate, you are free to vote elsewhere (library, friend’s house, etc.). Just be fair and only vote one time for each person in your home. Last year, with my family of 4, we were unable to get our network to cooperate, too. I was able to get 4 votes off for us, though – but we had to get creative and fit it in with our errands (library anyone?).
It has also come to our attention that there was a missing New blogger! Go over and check her out on the Best New Homeschool Blog poll.
The writers of GGM have also asked that they be removed from the Teen Group Blog. There were 24 votes for them, so I’d like to offer that if you were one who submitted one of those 24 votes, please feel free to vote again on that category. Their reasoning is that they do have some adult writers also, so it wouldn’t be fair to the other teen bloggers if they won. You can still vote for them on the Best Group or Family category if they are one of your favorites.
One more update to the polls: HSKubes was nominated and qualified for finalist in the Teen Girl category and she is actually a MOM. I guess that is a compliment if people think you are THAT young! I think I would be smiling all day if someone thought I was a teenager. So we are moving her to the MOM category. We’re letting her take her votes with her.
Whew!!! (*wiping brow*)
Hopefully that will be all the excitement for this year’s awards until we announce your winners! Have fun voting and as always, keep us informed if you notice something is not working or is out of order. We’ll do what we can to get it corrected!
