Change

Just thought I’d share a picture that I took last spring as the buds began to come forth on this tree. Every season we experience change. In the Autumn we see changes in a tree and although those changes look pretty on the outside, what we are left with is a barren tree for a time. Yet God always gives us hope and reveals to us that that time of barrenness is but for a short time.

We can rest in His unchanging grace and know that He is in charge and has the world in His hands. God shows us in our spirit that we individually need change. Sometimes when God asks us for change, it’s something we don’t want to face. It takes faith, real faith, to make a real change. Our change must be a real change without artificial coloring.

Just as the leaves begin to change and fall from the tree, we too must shed those things which we may have always thought as acceptable. Each of us is accountable to God for each and every decision we make and may all our decisions give absolute Glory to God. May the changes you make be pleasing in the sight of the Lord.
