I got a blog originally to do school assignments on, but it turned into a place where I can share so much more!

I post on a lot of different things: my family, my life, different things I have learned in my walk with God, my friends, and a lot of different things.

My family does read. Actually most of my family blogs. lol. My grandma and aunt have recently gotten blogs too.

Blogging is an amazing experience and it will change your life! I am so glad I got a blog!

This is a great article, btw! ;)
Love,
Miss Amanda

Hmmm...Very thought provoking post, Dawn. I would say that the primary purpose of my blog has been for me to sort out my own thoughts, but as time goes on I'm really viewing it as a ministry tool. I love encouraging women to be godly wives and mothers, but right now my personal "in real life" scope is rather limited. I guess my blog is becoming more about my walk with God and hoping that what I share encourages those who stop by to read.

Great post and questions. My family doe snot read our blogs at all. Some are not believers and have no desire to read anything about the Lord. Others don't go on the internet. I have a few friends who read, but don't tell me they're reading. Sometimes it comes in conversations months after they've read something. Blogging has had such a bad reputation among many people I know. I don't even call them 'blogs' in front of people I know. I just say 'website'. If they're reading, the don't tell me. I wish they would though. Each of my blogs has a purpose. Homeschool/family(mom blog), devotions, and the girls magazine.

I write about life with kids mostly, but I want to start blogging more about books. I changed my tagline to relect that so when people come to my blog for the first time, they know what to expect: a mommy blog, a book blog. I'm going to post about books moms would enjoy.

I don't write too specifically about HS the kids anymore. I would never want them to be embarrassed about it later, even if I don't use their real names.

Comments and knowing people are looking for information on a certain topic fuel me.
