Tell us a little about your family.
I am happily married to my high school sweetheart and have 2 children, 6th and 9th grade. We live in East Tennessee and attend a Lutheran church. My husband and I are youth leaders and I also lead a homeschool 4-H club. We homeschool so that our children can learn at their own pace.
What is your favorite item that you have ever knitted or crochet?
A scarf for my husband, even though it wasn’t perfect!
What is most challenging aspect of being a youth leader?
Having to do lots of fundraisers so that we have the money for the fall retreat and summer camp that the kids attend. I’d rather be spending time WITH the kids in Bible study and talking with them about their lives.
What led to your decision to start blogging?
A friend invited me to do so

How neat and sweet your desk area is! I can find things in my “messes” by the desk but my husband wants it looking exactly like yours. We usually have a happy compromise in the middle somewhere.. I love your very tall, full bookshelves as well!
